Organic cotton eliminates the use of toxic and persistent chemicals, improves soil health and increases water conservation. All of which is better for environment and for farmers and their communities. Organic cotton farming also supports biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, and helps to mitigate climate change by increasing the ability of soils to sequester carbon.

Organic Textile Company
Organic textile company use GOTS certified mills in India and Turkey. The cotton mill in Turkey says The origin of cotton is Aegean region of Turkey (Near İzmir). Organic textile company always obtain our own cotton from contracted farmers. Their spinning house is in Denizli. Depending on the quality or lead times they may use different knitting and dying houses placed in Denizli, İzmir or İstanbul. All facilities have to certificated otherwise it is not possible to give GOTS certificate to the final items (fabric or clothes). All of the facilities (Farms, spinning, knitting or even warehouse where the finished fabrics are controlled and packed) have to carry the responsibilities that certification requires. The certification is made by non-profit certification companies like ICEA or Control union.

Organic textile company have a small charity called 'Loom.'  Organic textile company return some of their profits to help the weavers they work with in Kerela. They distribute ten percent of profits to staff and support local initiatives and interest free loans to local businesses.
